Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Wildfire Alert Updated

UPDATE of May 27 – The Wildfire continues to burn in Wood Buffalo, and a number of areas continue to experience smoke which can affect visibility and cause breathing issues. Extreme care should be taken in these areas. A number of mandatory evacuation orders remain in effect for this region and only emergency and infrastructure personnel are permitted in these areas.

The Fire Ban remains in effect for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and the public should check Local and Provincial websites for information on Fire Bans in other areas of Alberta.
