UPDATE of May 9 – Mandatory evacuation orders are still in effect for Fort McMurray, Anzac, & Fort McMurray First Nation and only emergency personnel working on fire suppression, policing, and infrastructure responders are permitted in these areas. The Fort McMurray Airport is operational but continues to be used for Wildfire Aircraft operations only.
