Critical: Wildfire - Parts of Alberta
Description: Due to increased fire activity, fires are becoming increasingly unpredictable. These fires are moving closer to more populated areas including the Town of Edson. Fires have jumped fire guards. There could be impacts to roads and highways as the fire crosses blocking off points of egress for evacuation. The reception centre is the Edmonton Expo Centre.
Area: Western boundary of evacuation zone is Range Rd 200 north of Highway 16 and Rge Rd 213 south of Highway 16. Northern boundary is Township 570 to Range Rd 160 then north to Township 580 east to Highway 751 and south to Township 520. Includes Town of Edson.

Description: The wildfire has crossed Highway 47 and is moving west. Highway 47 is closed except for local evacuation traffic. Evacuate the area. A Reception Centre is at the Edmonton Expo Centre. Evacuate north on Highway 47 and east on Highway 16 to go to Reception Centre.
Area: The evacuation area is Highway 47 west to Medicine Lodge and south of Highway 16 to Township 520.

Advisory: Wildfire - Greenview No. 16
Description: Wildfire SWF 095, southeast of Sweathouse is burning out of control. Everyone in the effected area must remain evacuated.
Area: The evacuation order is still in effect for the Sweathouse area in the M D of Greenview. Everyone in TWP 69-19-W5 and TWP 68-19-W5 (South of TWP RD 700, West of RR 190, North of TWP RD 680, East of RR 200).

Description: There is a wildfire south of Township Road 570, west of Eastbank Road, and west of the McLeod River. Residents in the area must be prepared to evacuate within 30 minutes of notification.
Area: This alert is in effect for everyone in the area: North of Township Rd 561, west of Range Road 120 South of Groat Creek Road, Twp Rd 584 West of the McLeod River to RR 144 East of the McLeod River to RR 123 at Whitecourt Mountain

Description: Everyone in Brazeau County west of Range Road 95 to the entire Brazeau County border from north to south must be prepared to evacuate. This is precautionary due to increased fire behaviour west of Brazeau County accompanied by a forecasted wind shift from the west.
Area: This is an Alberta Emergency alert for the west side of Brazeau County. Anyone in the area indicated on the attached map must be prepared to evacuate on 30 minutes' notice. This area includes Lodgepole and Cynthia.

Advisory: Wildfire - Grande Prairie County No. 1
Description: The Peavine Creek wildfire has crossed the BC-AB border and is burning 5.5 km west of Preston Lake. Winds are pushing the fire east. The situation is being carefully monitored and if conditions do not improve, an evacuation will be required.
Area: This alert is in effect for everyone located north of TWP RD 732, west of RGE RD 131, and south of TWP RD 742.

Advisory: Wildfire - Parts of Alberta
Description: Anyone that has not been assigned a role in the response by local authorities must leave the community immediately. Air transport to Fort McMurray can be arranged by calling Pulse at 1-800-973-9663 or 780-743-7000 between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Emergency Social Services will follow up with details on the next available flight. Residents evacuating by boat need to contact Pulse before leaving. All boats should travel to Barge Landing in Fort McKay.
Area: The Mandatory Evacuation Order remains in place for the entire community of Fort Chipewyan, including the Mikisew Cree First Nation, Fort Chipewyan Metis Nation and Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation.

Description: Wildfires GWF-035 & GWF-038 have slowed their movement to the west and are no longer pose a serious threat to the communities west of the fires. burning southwest of White Mountain area have exceeded 5,000 hectares in total size. Both fires are out of control, and now spreading towards the BC border.
Area: The Boone Lake complex wildfires are currently 16 km south of Hwy 49, 20 km north of Valhalla, and 19 km east of Gundy.
