Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Wildfire Alert Updated

There is a wildfire southwest of Fort McMurray. A state of local emergency has been declared. A mandatory evacuation order has been issued for Centennial Park, south of Airport Road and Gregoire. A Reception Centre is set up at MacDonald Island at 1 C.A. Knight Way.

Action to take:

For residents requiring transportation to the Reception Centre, transit buses will be doing continuous loops until further notice with the following pick-up locations: Shell Station at Highway 63 at entrance to Centennial Trailer Park; Greely Road School and the intersection of Airport Road and Arabian Drive.
