Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Wildfire Alert Updated

North edge of fire is growing rapidly. Mandatory evacuation declared for Abasand, Grayling Terrace and Beaconhill. Voluntary evacuation for portion of Thickwood south of Thickwood Blvd between Real Martin Drive and Thicket Drive.

Action to take:

Residents evacuating from Abasand and Beaconhill should go to the Reception Centre at MacDonald Island at 1 C.A
Knight Way
Residents evacuating from Thickwood should go to Noralta Lodge which is 21 km north of Fort McMurray across from Suncor overpass.
