Employers with existing training codes can still have their staff complete training by July 1, 2022.

Overview

Alberta’s frontline workers can access safety training to help keep businesses open and workers and patrons safe during the pandemic.

Alberta workers were responsible for implementing the temporary measures under the Restrictions Exemption Program (REP), including checking proof of vaccination of patrons and customers. The training helped them deal with challenging situations if they arise.

The safety training is available to all Alberta employers and employees who implemented REP or other COVID-19 safety requirements.
