BRIDGE program

Women entrepreneurs can access tailored supports to help them establish sustainable businesses.

Overview

The BRIDGE Program, administered by Alberta Women Entrepreneurs and funded by the governments of Alberta and Canada, is a pilot program designed to support women entrepreneurs and small business owners who are actively running their business to move from early-stage operations to an established, growth-ready future. Sign up on the Alberta Women Entrepreneurs website to be notified when the program registration opens in early 2026.

BRIDGE stands for:

  • Build a strong foundation for success
  • Refine your vision and strategy
  • Innovate with confidence
  • Develop actionable plans that work
  • Grow your leadership capacity
  • Elevate your business to the next level

The BRIDGE Program will deliver tailored business supports, such as training, coaching, strategic advice and personalized business planning to help establish sustainable women-led businesses. This work helps support women’s economic independence and success, as part of Alberta’s 10-year Strategy to End Gender-based Violence.

Eligibility

Woman entrepreneurs and small business owners are eligible to access the program if they have been operating a business in Alberta for one to 5 years. Program participants can access up to $5,000 in financial support. Fill in the assessment on the Alberta Women Entrepreneurs website.
