Overview
Alberta’s Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulation and Code set minimum standards for health, safety and wellness in Alberta’s workplaces. Employers and workers need to know these rules. The 2021 OHS Code is available for download now.
The OHS Code was recently amended by Alberta Regulation 242/2022 (PDF, 3.6 MB) and will come into force March 31, 2023. Pre-orders are currently being accepted for the following items:

The March 31, 2023 version of the OHS Code will be available for online viewing at the end of March 2023.
