The Alberta Gazette logo

Published by the Alberta King’s Printer, The Alberta Gazette is the official newspaper of the Government of Alberta. It contains new and amending regulations, assorted government notices, and private sector public notices that are required by statute to be published. An annual subscription service is available for Parts 1 and 2.

The Registrar's Periodical contains the corporate registry listing previously published in the Alberta Gazette Part 1.

The Alberta Gazette Part 1

Contains:

  • Proclamations
  • Appointments
  • Resignations and Retirements
  • Orders in Council
  • Government Notices
  • Advertisements

The Alberta Gazette Part 2

Contains new and amending regulations filed with the Registrar of Regulations. These regulations, as filed and published under the Regulations Act, must be consulted when interpreting and applying the law.

Registrar’s Periodical

Contains:

  • corporate registrations
  • incorporations and continuations
  • corporate name changes, and other corporate notices required by law to be published

* Historical issues of The Alberta Gazette prior to 1995 are available upon request or on KP Source Professional. Print copies are available for reference at the Alberta King’s Printer office in Edmonton or at public libraries across Alberta through the Depository Library program.

Publication requirements and fees

Notices and advertisements published in Part 1 must have a legislative requirement for publication. Notices and advertisements can be sent by:

Fees for the publication of notices, advertisements and documents in The Alberta Gazette are:

  • 5 or fewer pages – $20
  • more than 5 pages – $30

Add 5% GST to the above prices (GST registration number 124072513RT).
