Highway 2 and 338 Avenue interchange

Highway planning study to consider a new interchange at Highway 2 and 338 Avenue.

Overview

Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors in collaboration with the Town of Okotoks and Foothills County has completed a functional planning study for the Highway 2 and 338 Avenue Interchange to replace the existing at-grade intersection.

The study examined:

  • operational considerations – like capacity, access, interchange configurations and right-of-way requirements – to develop functional plans for a new interchange
  • 338 Avenue’s alignment and its connection to the future proposed interchange
  • input from Albertans, including multiple stakeholders and adjacent property owners
