Canada Post service disruption
Due to the Canada Post strike, temporary Security Worker, Automotive Lock Bypass and Investigator licences issued between July 15 and September 30, 2025, will now expire on December 15, 2025.
Holders of these temporary licences may continue to work under the Security Services and Investigators Act while waiting for their licence card to arrive once mail service resumes.
Applications are still being processed through the Security Services Program and participating Alberta registry agents.
