Overview
The amusement rides discipline is responsible for establishing and interpreting the codes, standards and respective regulations under the Safety Codes Act.
We work with the Safety Codes Council and the Alberta Elevating Devices and Amusement Ride Safety Association to develop and provide information to the amusement rides and devices industry.

- ASTM F2783-20 Amusement Rides and Devices, in Canada: Declared in force on June 1, 2021

- Prior to this, the CAN/CSA Standard Z267-00, Safety Code for Amusement Rides and Devices including Appendix C (Non-destructive Testing) was in force.
