Security guards, locksmiths, investigators and more can complete licence applications and renewals through participating registries.
Qualified security workers and investigators can complete new applications and renewals for their licences through registry agents.
These occupations are listed under the Security Service and Investigators Act and include:
Participating registry agents can process both new applications and renewals. This includes a $9 service fee charged on top of normal licensing fees.
After you receive your temporary licence, a permanent licence will be mailed to you within 60 days.

Pay the licensing fee at the registry agent – do not use the government online payment method.
