COVID-19 response: Information for training providers and certificate holders

The delivery of training programs can now resume with Stage 1 of Alberta’s Relaunch Strategy. Training agencies have the same obligations as other businesses opening in Stage 1.

Training agencies must follow all recommendations from Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health and the General relaunch guidance (PDF, 186 KB). Training agencies that provide in-person training must have policies and processes in place to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

All approved agencies must agree that their approved courses will be delivered in accordance with the regulatory requirements for conducting health assessments for workers exposed to asbestos, silica or coal dust at workplaces.
