Overview

McCullough Centre is a provincial facility located in Gunn, a community 65 kilometres northwest of Edmonton. The centre provides a 6-month program for homeless men with addictions and/or mental health issues. It includes a private room and support services to recover and develop a stable, healthy lifestyle.

Through a team approach, men get help preparing to live on their own in their community. This happens by providing a range of supports to meet individual needs, such as:

  • addictions and recovery counselling
  • physical and mental health supports
  • personal and life skills development
  • training and employment services
  • financial benefits

When men are accepted into the program, they must actively participate and follow the rules to be successful.
