Child Support Recalculation Program – How to register

New registrations

Submit your registration request at least 4 months before the anniversary date of your court order, to allow time for us to gather income information.

How to register

• Either parent can register for the program.
• You do not have to be a client of the Maintenance Enforcement Program to register.

Register with RP through the RP Portal. You will need to have an Alberta.ca account.

Register by mail or fax

• Step 1. Fill out the form Registration Request.
• Step 2. Submit the form and your child support order. Mail or fax the form and your child support order to:

After you register

Once one parent registers, the other parent is obligated to be part of the program.

We cannot recalculate in all cases where a parent is self-employed or involved in a private corporation. If you are self-employed, contact us to discuss the program’s policies before registering.
