COVID-19 Updates: State of public health emergency declared.
You need to send the Child Support Recalculation Program your registration package at least 4 months before the anniversary date of your court order. This ensures there is enough time for us to request and obtain income information before that date.
How to register
Either parent can register for the program.
You do not have to be a client of the Maintenance Enforcement Program to register.
Step 1. Fill out the form
Registration Request (PDF, 222 KB)
Step 2. Submit the form and your child support order
Mail or fax the form and your child support order to:
Child Support Recalculation Program
8th Floor, 10365 97 Street
Edmonton, Alberta T5J 3W7
We do not accept registration forms by email.
After you register
Once one parent registers, the other parent is obligated to be part of the program.
We cannot recalculate in all cases where a parent is self-employed or involved in a private corporation. If you are self-employed, contact us to discuss the program’s policies before registering.
To find out more about what happens after you register for the program, see the After you register page.
