Victims and family members of homicide victims can get financial assistance for attending court.
If you are a victim of a serious Criminal Code (Canada) offence or family members of a homicide victim, you can get reimbursed for expenses to help you attend court proceedings, such as to deliver victims impact statements or attend sentencing.
This program supplements the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service (ACPS) Witness Expense program.
