Skills for Jobs

The Trades Hall of Fame is a key part of our Skills for Jobs agenda to encourage more Albertans to pursue rewarding careers in the trades to meet growing labour market demands.

Celebrating the role of tradespeople and apprenticeship educators in building our province raises the parity of esteem between the trades and other professions.

We believe an apprenticeship education is as valuable as university degree. That’s why we’re increasing funding to ensure the next generation of workers gain the skills they need.
