Water Act Codes of Practice

Applications for Water Act Codes of Practice notices must be submitted through the Digital Regulatory Assurance System.

Important notice

  • Water use reporting: Government of Alberta and Alberta Energy Regulator

    Holders of Water Act licences with a requirement to report water usage need to submit their reports online. If the licence is regulated by the Alberta government, the report is submitted in the Digital Regulatory Assurance System (DRAS). 

    Holders of energy- and mineral-related water use licences regulated by the Alberta Energy Regulator are required to submit reports in OneStop.
