Minister of Jobs, Economy, Trade and Immigration Joseph Schow, Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Tara Sawyer and Minister of Technology and Innovation Nate Glubish are joining Premier Danielle Smith at the summit, alongside representatives from the Invest Alberta Corporation and the Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo). During the summit, Team Alberta will meet with more than 100 of the world's largest investors from global capital firms, representing a combined total investment pool of more than $50 trillion.

Team Alberta will promote the province’s strong business and investment climate, highlight shovel-ready projects and build relationships with institutional investors seeking to deploy capital that will drive growth and prosperity in the province.   • Projects featured in the deal book met several criteria. All projects have:
    • a minimum capital requirement of about $200 million
    • reached an advanced stage of development
    • demonstrated a clear path to Final Investment Decision, financial viability and planning
    • visibility on supply chains and offtake arrangements
    • meaningful regulatory progress, with realistic timelines
    • strong management teams and governance structures
  • Alberta is building on its proven track record of world-class private sector investments, including:
    • Dow’s more than $10.1-billion net zero petrochemical facility in Fort Saskatchewan, including Linde’s $2-billion clean hydrogen facility
    • CGC’s $210-million wallboard manufacturing plant in Wheatland County
    • Lufthansa Technik Canada’s $120-million aircraft engine maintenance and repair facility and Canadian headquarters in Calgary, among many others
