Overview

Periodically, holders of existing public land dispositions and the public have the opportunity to submit bids for the right to manage a specific Crown land activity identified by the Ministry of Forestry and Parks.

Tender notices

A tender notice will be advertised on the Government of Alberta website, on some social media sites and in local newspapers.

The tender notice  will advise you on various aspects of the tender, including but not limited to:

  • land description
  • terms and conditions of the tender
  • where to send your tender submission
  • closing time and date of the tender
  • relevant tender documentation

All tender notices have specific requirements and may also have unique requirements that apply only to that tender. Tenders can vary and there may be more than one tender open at any given time, for example an aggregate tender and an agriculture tender.

Successful bidders
