Federal-provincial child care agreement
On November 15, 2021, the Alberta and federal governments announced an agreement to reduce child care fees by an average of 50% in early 2022 and to provide $10 per day fees, on average, by 2026. Learn more about this historic agreement.
Children’s Services offers a range of supports and resources for children, youth and families in 7 regions across the province. This includes Calgary, Central, Edmonton, Northeast, Northwest, North Central, Southeast and Southwest regions.
Culturally specific services are also provided through Metis and Indigenous Children’s Services offices and Delegated First Nation Agencies.
