Childcare – Public notices

See a list of childcare programs ordered to close, issued a probationary licence, or affected by public health orders.

Overview

The Early Learning and Child Care Act, Regulation and Family Day Home Standards set out requirements to maintain a high standard of quality and safety in licensed childcare programs. The Ministry of Education and Childcare licenses, monitors and takes enforcement action according to these standards. To ensure transparency and keep parents informed, Alberta publishes program closures, probationary licences and public health orders.
