Overview
Anyone who provides driver training in Alberta must have a licence, even if they do not charge a fee.
The type of licence you need depends on:
- the class of licence you want to teach
- whether you are applying for the first time, renewing or coming from another province
For full details, read the Licensed Driver Training School Procedures Manual. You must meet all requirements in the manual to be licensed.
