Overview

It takes study and practice to be a safe driver and develop the following:

  • attitude – of safe and responsible driving every time you drive
  • awareness – of what is happening around you as you drive
  • knowledge – learn and understand traffic laws and rules of the road
  • skill – enrol in driver education programs to learn more about operating a motor vehicle safely

New drivers are encouraged to take driver education and training from a licensed driver training school.
