Biography

Grant Hunter was sworn in as the Associate Minister of Water on May 16, 2025. He has previously served as the Associate Minister for Red-tape Reduction and as a Parliamentary Secretary for Agri-food processing.

Prior to his service as an elected official, Grant had been an entrepreneur for most of his life and has a deep passion and understanding for small business. 

Grant Hunter was first elected in 2015 and re-elected in 2019 and 2023 in the riding of Taber-Warner. He also serves as the Chief Government Whip for the UCP caucus.
