High call volumes
Due to high call volumes, you will have to wait on hold or you may be asked to call another time.
If you need to update your personal or family information, have lost or damaged your card, or to ask a question, call us.
If possible, have your personal health number ready when you call.
Office hours: 8:15 am to 4:30 pm (Monday to Friday, closed statutory holidays)
Important: Do not send personal information or completed forms by email.
Note: Faxing is not recommended if you are a new or returning applicant. We require photo identification and images do not come through clearly in the fax and the application is often returned.
Report misuse of AHCIP card
If you suspect someone is misusing their AHCIP card, or someone is using a card that is not theirs, call our tips line at 1-866-278-5104 (confidential call).
