Wild Rose Global Exports Ltd. was established in 2016 and focuses on exporting Canadian livestock genetics and technologies. Wild Rose supports their clients around the world with a wide range of expertise. This includes expert advice for the development of farms, the sourcing, selection and transport of cattle, embryos, equipment and technology transfer.

We offer follow up support for nutrition, herd health, reproduction management and the best practices farm management.

Kate Kolstad, President, has more than 30 years of experience exporting livestock, embryos, semen and related production technology around the world. Her passion for the cattle industry is rooted in her childhood, having grown up on a 12,000 acre (4850 ha) beef cattle ranch in southern Alberta, Canada.

Kate co-founded Alta Exports International Ltd. (AEI) in 2000 with the company’s focus on exporting quality Canadian beef and dairy genetics. During the next 16 years AEI exported more than 20,000 head of live cattle and over 10,000 embryos to Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Mexico, the United States and Colombia.
