Wildfires of note

There is one wildfire of note in Alberta.
Wildfire LCU002 is a mutual aid wildfire located in the Redwater Provincial Recreation Area.
The estimated size of the wildfire is 3,060 hectares, and it is classified as out of control. Alberta Wildfire's incident management team deployed to the wildfire earlier this week will be responsible for firefighting operations.
Alberta Wildfire is supporting suppression efforts with firefighters, helicopters, heavy equipment and airtankers. A night vision helicopter is also supporting municipal fire crews working over night.
