Albertans are encouraged to show appreciation for seniors and recognize the important contributions seniors make to our province.

Alberta has declared a public health emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During these challenging times, Albertans are encourage to recognize and connect with seniors in innovative, fun and creative ways while adhering to physical distancing restrictions in place.
Ideas to safely recognize, celebrate and support Alberta’s seniors.
Provincial launch co-host
Each year, the Government of Alberta chooses an organization or community to co-host the provincial launch event for Seniors’ Week. For 2020, the Seniors Outreach Program Society in Three Hills was selected. Due to the public health emergency, a traditional launch event is not possible. The Seniors Outreach Program Society in Three Hills will co-host the provincial launch event in 2021.
