Synopsis
Dir: Max Fleischer, Dave Fleischer. Compilation/Animation. A selection of restored versions of cartoons by animation pioneers Max Fleischer and Dave Fleischer, including their characters Betty Boop, Koko the Clown, and Popeye; and examples of their techniques including rotoscoping, mixing animation and live action, and use of the stereoptical process. Includes the short films 'Betty Boop and Grampy' (1935), 'KoKo's Klock' (1927), 'I'm In The Army Now' (1936), 'Mother Goose Land' (1933), 'Dinah' (1933), 'The Tears Of An Onion' (1938), 'Ko-Ko's Kozy Korner' (1928), and 'Betty Boop's Bizzy Bee' (1932).
