If you screen movies for the public and charge admission, under the law you must display its Alberta film rating.

Before you can screen a film in Alberta, you must first register with Alberta Film Classification.

Before you can screen a film in Alberta, you must first register and then apply to get your film rated.

Film distributors can apply for reconsideration of a film rating.

Before you can screen a film trailer in Alberta, you must first register and then apply to get your trailer rated.

Film festivals, non-profits and community groups that wish to host film screenings must register and work with Alberta Film Classification.

The final step in getting a film rated is to report the number of screens your film or trailer will be shown on.
