Dir: Alexandre de La Patellière, Matthieu Delaporte. French-language Period Drama. Based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas. After escaping from an island prison where he spent 14 years for being wrongly accused of state treason, a man (Pierre Niney), helped by his young associates (Julien De Saint Jean, Anamaria Vartolomei), returns as the Count of Monte Cristo to exact revenge on the men who betrayed him (Patrick Mille, Laurent Lafitte, Bastien Bouillon).
