Synopsis

Dir: Thomas Negovan / Tinto Brass. Epic. In this re-edit of the original 1979 film, the reign of Caligula (Malcolm McDowell) is presented, from the death of Tiberius (Peter O'Toole), his own ascension to emperor, his relationships with his wife (Helen Mirren) and sister (Teresa Ann Savoy), his descent into depravity, and his eventual assassination.
