Wildfire update

Rocky Mountain House Forest Area - June 06, 2025

High wildfire danger

With several days of warm temperatures and a lack of significant rain, the wildfire danger in the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area has climbed to high. With another stretch of warm temperatures in the forecast and very little anticipated rain, the wildfire danger is expected to continue climbing.

If you see smoke in the forest, report it immediately by calling 310-FIRE (3473). Quick reporting helps wildfire crews respond faster and reduces the risk of wildfires spreading.

  • Barbecue charcoal briquettes
  • Fireworks and exploding targets

Allowed:

  • Propane fire pits and natural gas-powered appliances
  • Indoor wood fires
  • Open flame oil devices
