The wildfire danger in the Rocky Mountain House forest area remains moderate. This means wildfires can start and spread, but are less likely to become severe if detected and responded to quickly. Continued rainfall, and snow in higher elevations, is helping to maintain moisture levels in vegetation and reduce the potential for wildfires to start.
