Free capacity assessment course for:
- registered social workers
- registered occupational therapists
- registered nurses
- registered psychiatric nurses
The course will be presented with Microsoft Teams on these dates:
- Thursday, December 8, 2022: 9 am to 3:30 pm
- Friday, December 9, 2022: 9 am to 3:30 pm
- Friday, December 16, 2022: 9 am to 3:30 pm
You must take part in all 3 days of the course.
Course materials, pre-course work and the Teams course link will be sent to you by email before the course.
This 3-day course is mandatory to be a designated capacity assessor. Designated capacity assessors are able to complete decision-making capacity assessments under the Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Act.
The course is presented by the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT).
