Introduction

To support safe pesticide use, the Government of Alberta provides clear guidance on how pesticides must be sold, used, stored, and disposed of under provincial legislation. This includes vendor registration, training and certification programs, and detailed requirements based on pesticide Schedule 1 to 4. Regulations are developed using current scientific knowledge and best practices.
