Low wildfire danger
Due to heavy snow conditions, the fire danger level in the Peace River Forest Area is low.
Updates will be provided over the winter months if required. Regular updates will resume March 1, 2026.
Brush pile burning
From November 1- February 28, fire permits are not required in the Forest Protection Area. When burning brush piles, remember to follow safe burning practices.
All burn piles must be extinguished before March 1, 2026.
