Overview

Individuals requiring access to the Alberta Personal Property Registration Electronic System (APPRES) and Corporate Registry System (CORES) are required to complete an exam delivered by Service Alberta.

Registry Agents will also have access to the Basic General Registries (BGR) Exam, Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP) Registration Services and eLearning specific to their business.

Successful completion of an accreditation exam does not guarantee access to Government of Alberta Registries systems. In order to use your accreditation access for APPRES or CORES, you must:

  • be employed at a Registry Agent office

Individuals can register for an accreditation or certification exam by choosing the date that best suits their needs. Initially, exams will be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. You can write your exam at any time on the day of your booking.
