Biography

Myles McDougall was sworn in as Minister of Advanced Education on May 16, 2025.

Prior to his service as an elected official, Myles had a varied and international career spanning Europe, Latin America and Canada.

He worked as an economist, corporate executive, technology entrepreneur, management consultant, advisor, and teacher, accumulating valuable experience across diverse regions and sectors.

Myles pursued public office to share his expertise and passion for public service. He is committed to working tirelessly to represent his constituents and make Alberta a better place to live, work and raise a family.

On May 29, 2023, Myles was elected to represent the people of Calgary-Fish Creek in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.
