Carriers are responsible for knowing all the requirements for operating long combination vehicles in Alberta.
The following permit allows a carrier to operate long combination vehicles (LCV) in the province of Alberta.
All of the following conditions and other conditions specified in the permit must be adhered to once a permit has been issued.
These conditions are a simplified guide to certain parts of the acts and regulations, and not a substitute for them. Alberta Transportation, Carrier and Vehicle Safety Branch, is not responsible for any omissions in the following documents. It is the responsibility of the transporter to consult the regulations for the exact requirements before moving shipments.
