Lac La Biche Forest Area - June 15, 2026

Moderate wildfire danger

The wildfire danger in the Lac La Biche Forest Area is moderate. Wildfires can still start and spread in cooler conditions but are less likely to become severe if detected quickly. Be cautious with outdoor fires. 

Wildfire situation 

Since January 1, 2026 there have been 71 wildfires in the Lac La Biche Forest Area. There are currently 2 active wildfires burning in the Lac la Biche Forest Area, both are classified as under control.

Farming and agriculture
