The wildfire danger across the Lac La Biche Forest Area is currently low. Most of the area received significant rainfall over the past week, which has helped reduce wildfire risk. However, caution is still needed outdoors, especially in drier areas where open flames can still ignite vegetation.
Wildfire Situation
Since January 1, 2026 there have been 69 wildfires in the Lac La Biche Forest Area. There are currently 4 active wildfires burning in the Lac la Biche Forest Area, which are all now classified as under control.
