We are modernizing the way we support the non-profit and charitable sector. By matching donations and issuing tax receipts, we are collaborating with Albertans to increase funding to causes that matter most to them, and making it cheaper and easier to give.

Albertans are able to support non-profit, sport and art organizations through a number of channels, including through the following programs:
Creative Partnerships
Creative Partnerships – donations and investment opportunities
Crowdfunding Alberta is a crowdfunding platform for Alberta non-profit organizations to share their bold ideas and seek community support.
Activated by Innovate Calgary, the University of Calgary’s knowledge transfer and business incubator, UCeed Social Impact Fund is a pre-seed investment fund using loans and equity investments to accelerate transformational impact in our communities.
SPAR Donation Fund Program
Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation (SPAR) Donation Fund Program encourages support for the development of sport, physical activity and recreation in Alberta. The program gives individuals and corporate donors an opportunity for a tax incentive to invest in the future of the sector and a process for the acceptance of contributions from charitable organizations.
Arts Sector Donation Program
The Arts Sector Donation Program fosters and contributes to the growth and development of the arts in Alberta by accepting cash donations from donors to support Alberta Foundation for the Arts programs and services.
