Housing starts and sales

• Housing starts – Includes urban (population of + 10,000) construction of units.
• Home Sales – Provides Multiple Listing Service (MLS) total home sales by province and Alberta municipality.
• Housing market notes – Includes key indicators and quarterly data from the Canadian Real Estate Association, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and Statistics Canada.

Housing costs and programs

• Apartment vacancy and rental cost survey – Provides data and findings from the annual survey of multi-family dwellings in Alberta's rural communities, conducted by Alberta between the months of May and August each year.
• Average rent by municipality – Includes residential rental rates by municipality, year, and type of unit (bachelor suites, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units) in non-subsidized rental buildings that have 3 or more rental units.
• Shelter usage in Alberta – Includes data submitted daily by shelter operators to track capacity and utilization.
• Income thresholds – Includes information for various housing programs in Alberta.
