This directive covers the process when an Alberta Public Service employee living in government-supplied housing leaves the public service.
This directive describes the eviction notice to employees who live in government-supplied housing.
If you are dismissed while living in government housing, you may be allowed to remain in the housing until the end of the month in which you were notified of dismissal. If you appeal the dismissal, you may be allowed to remain in the housing until the end of the month in which you are given the appeal decision.
In exceptional circumstances, the deputy head may authorize an earlier eviction date in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act.
