Step 2. Submit the request at a registry agent

You can search through any registry agent office in Alberta.

Step 3. After you submit the request

A search result will be one of the following:

  • exact match
  • inexact match
  • no match
  • both exact and inexact matches

If any inexact matches are shown they may need to be checked further. The customer should either do another search on the inexact name or a registration number search for that specific registration.

Any questions about a search result should be directed to the party that is responsible for registering the interest.
