Like many small business owners, Sam Dalupang had to temporarily close the doors of 9Round Fitness in Leduc because of COVID‑19. In the meantime, Sam is taking care of the people in his community by making grocery and Costco runs for neighbours in need. He also donated Easter dinners to 12 families and teamed up with another local business owner to provide hand sanitizer to others.
Sam is also leading efforts to help the business community stay afloat by asking Leduc residents to donate $2 to a small business they support to help them cover operational costs while they are closed. Sam’s continued efforts to support the people and businesses of Leduc are genuine expressions of community spirit.
