Introduction
Air quality modelling is required for regulatory applications in Alberta. A modelling assessment is undertaken to understand the impact of industrial activity on the surrounding ambient air. Air quality modelling for regulatory applications must follow Alberta’s Air Quality Model Guideline, which provides detailed guidance on which methods and approaches should be used to assess air emissions sources and their impact on air quality.
